Centralia police are looking for a man suspected of stealing an undisclosed amount of money from the TwinStar Credit Union in the 1300 block of South Gold Street.

Officers were dispatched to a robbery alarm at the credit union about 6:45 a.m. Friday, according to Centralia police. The suspect confronted the tellers and forced them to the vault, then fled, leaving the tellers in the vault, police said.

The suspect is a male, about 6 feet tall with blue eyes. Anyone with information is requested to call the Centralia Police Department at 360-330-7680 or Crime Stoppers of Lewis County at 360-740-2726.

Also, authorities are looking for a 38-year-old Elma man who allegedly rammed his estranged wife's car off the road earlier this week, according to The Daily World of Aberdeen.

Grays Harbor Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Pimentel said Jason M. Garner is wanted on suspicion of domestic violence second-degree assault. Garner has not been seen since the crash Tuesday morning.

Pimentel said Garner's 45-year-old wife reported she was driving west along state Route 12 near Satsop when Garner pulled in front of her and tried to stop her. She refused to stop.

"He pulled up beside her and rammed into the vehicle," Pimentel said.

The woman lost control of her vehicle and spun into the median, where the vehicle became caught in the cable barrier, he said. She did not experience any serious injuries, but the car was badly damaged.

Pimentel said Garner sped away in a green Chevy Cavalier with license plate 715-XQF.

"Nobody's heard from him since then," he said.

The wife's car later was parked in Elma and appears to have been rammed a second time, Pimentel added.

Pimentel asked anyone with information to call the sheriff's office at 360-249-3711.
