TUMWATER - Jarred Bossio and Kyle Kanda each shot an even-par 36 on Wednesday to lead the Capital boys golf team to a 192-200 victory over Tumwater at Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course.
"It was a good nonleague match," Tumwater coach Scott Killough said.
"The players were really looking forward to it because a lot of them know each other."
Tommy Kjorlaug's 37 led the Thunderbirds in the loss.
"We would have liked to play a little bit better, but 200 is a good score," Killough said. "Capital is a solid team, so it was a good match."
Timberline 200, Centralia 224
It took a stron team effort by Timberline to beat Centralia at Capitol City Golf Course.
"The first four played really solid," Timberline coach Don Backman said. "It was really good."
