On Obama

I talked to eight people about Sen. Barack Obama yesterday, and to a one I was impressed with the depth of consideration they had given him, even those who claimed not to know much at all. You can read the story here, but I bow to another medium, the video, which lets them explain it themselves:
This is a phenomenal thing, to have the electorate so squarely engaged in the dialogue over the presidency. Either a great effort by the public and the media, or precision campaign work by Obama. Today is his day; well see how well McCain has led up to his big day next week.
