Idaho Vandal cheerleaders, skimpy outfits

Hey, you gotta figure the headline has something to do with this story about my alma mater being No.2 on the LA Times website today:

BOISE, Idaho -- Less than a month into the football season, the Idaho Vandals are undergoing another makeover after spectators complained that cheerleaders' uniforms were flashing a little more than school spirit.
After the football team dumped the school logo from the buttocks of their new pants, the university in Moscow got complaints that new two-piece cheerleader uniforms were too skimpy.
"A number of fans were concerned that the uniforms were inappropriate," said Bruce Pitman, dean of students. "To be fair, there were a number of fans who liked them."

Not sure, but I think (make that I'm pretty sure, judging by the Google news breakdown) the ragged old Argonaut, the university newspaper, gets credit for breaking the big story.

By the way, Vice President in waiting Sarah Palin and I have the same degree from the U of I, journalism. Take that as you will.
