Adam Wilson expounds on Washington state government, workers and politics. Wilson began covering those issues for the Olympian in 2004. He can be reached at: awilson@theolympian.com.
DSHS has its own channel on YouTube, and released what they think is the first state press release in American Sign Language. It's a public service announcement, really, on Disability Employment Awareness Month.
That's David Hankinson of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation doing the signing and former communications director Steve Williams doing the voice-over. If anybody knows of another state agency who has done an ASL release, speak or sign up.
