Palin: the Idaho years (redux)

I'm not sure that it's intentional, but the Los Angles Times is carving out a niche reporting on the University of Idaho, what with their cheerleader coverage and now a look back on Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's college years. The best part is this photo:

But other than big hair and fat belts, Palin didn't seem to leave a lot of impressions behind. Apparently Sens. John McCain, Joe Biden and Barack Obama did; but is it really unusual for your professors to draw a blank 20 years later?

I do find it entertaining that the article (No. 5 on the LA Times most-emailed list) quotes both Jim Fisher and Roy Atwood. Fisher, Francophile liberal, tutored me on the finer points of statehouse reporting, while Atwood, a strict literal interpreter of the Bible, educated me on the history of media. They share only an intellectual streak and common lack of memorable Palin anecodotes.
