From the Not Everyday Department: Alaskans look to be retaining U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, despite his recent conviction for corruption.

And also in the in Northwest, a Democrat may be winning in Idaho, in the 1st Congressional District. That would be the first defeat of an incumbent Republican by Idaho Democrats in a decade.
