Effective January 5th, I will step into a new role as Director of Governor Gregoires Executive Policy Office. I am honored to be asked to continue to serve Governor Gregoire as she charts the path to a stronger Washington in these difficult times.
Yes, exactly. She's moving across Capitol Way to Gregoire's policy shop, taking a position now filled by Laurie Dolan. Where is Dolan going? Who will be the new secretary? I bet we can answer one of those questions today.
UPDATE: Dolan is retiring. In a farewell message, she said she wanted to spend more time with family in the face of her illness, multiple myeloma, a kind of cancer.
UPDATE 2: And yes, that's DSHS secretary we're talking about, not the secretary of state. Fixed a strange error, thanks to a careful reader.
