SEATTLE: Olympia man dies in motorcycle crash

An Olympia man died after attempting motorcycle stunts on an onramp near Qwest and Safeco fields Saturday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The 22-year-old man’s next of kin has not been notified, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

According to a memo from the Washington State Patrol, the man attempted stunts on the Interstate 90 onrarmp on Fourth Avenue South in Seattle around 10:40 p.m. Saturday when he lost control and was thrown over the handlebars of his 2007 Suzuki GSXR10. He then went over the guard rail and fell about 100 feet, according to the memo. He had been wearing a helmet.

Another man also died while doing motorcycle stunts earlier Saturday in an unrelated incident , according to the Associated Press. That incident involved a Monroe man who was attempting stunts on State Route 522 east of State Route 9 in Snohomish County, The Associated Press reported.
