Federal, state officials set flood meeting

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the state of Washington will hold an open house about programs that address flooding and related concerns throughout the Chehalis River Basin from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Swede Hall, 18543 Albany St. S.W., Rochester.

Thurston County Commissioner Karen Valenzuela, the Chehalis River Basin Flood Authority and the Chehalis Basin Partnership will be represented at Wednesday’s meeting.
