Three men were in jail Friday after their arrests on suspicion of participating in a Sept. 15 Tenino motor home invasion during which one threatened the victim with a sawed-off shotgun, court papers state.
Jeremy Erwin, 34, Fred Isaacson, 44, and Jason Butterton, 25, were being held Friday at the Thurston County Jail on suspicion of first-degree robbery and other charges.
Erwin and Butterton are accused of entering the motor home in the 2900 block of 143rd Avenue Southeast on Sept. 15; Erwin stated that they were there to deliver drugs, court papers state.
The victim told police the suspects were there to purchase a revolver for several hundred dollars, according to court papers.
Also according to court papers:
The suspects entered and threatened a man and a woman in the motor home.
The victim could hear Isaacson on a speakerphone yelling about “dope, a gun, and how these guys were there to collect the gun for him.”
The suspects assaulted the male and later placed the barrel of the shotgun in his mouth. They also threatened the woman’s life.
The suspects demanded to know the location of the revolver that Isaacson wanted, and Butterton found the weapon and left with it.
The male victim said “Erwin made several threats that he would be back and kill them if they reported the incident to the police and that he would burn their place to the ground,” court papers state.
