Karen Bullinger: Top student wants to design Web projects

Best personal achievement: Achieving a 4.0 GPA my freshman year, and being elected North Thurston High School Future Business Leader of America club co-president.

How I spend my time: I spend my time reading and working on Web design projects.

Favorite subjects: English and any subject relating to business

Favorite movie: “17 Again”

Favorite book: This is a tie between “New Moon” of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and “To Kill a Mocking Bird” by Harper Lee.

Dream job: My dream job is to be a Web design specialist.

Someone I respect: I really respect Marion Salcedo because she is an incredible teacher and a great Future Business Leaders of America advisor. She is always there to help me reach my goals and is always willing to help me with anything.

College I’d like to attend: Central Washington University

Someone famous I’d like to meet: I would love to meet Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series.

Someday, looking back on my life I’d like to be able to say: I took advantage of every opportunity presented to me.

Biggest challenge facing teenagers today: The biggest challenge facing teens today is keeping a positive attitude and persevering.

One thing in the world I would change if I could: I would get rid of terrorism. It really doesn’t serve any purpose.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: In 10 years I hope to be finished with school and building up my career.
