Health department bans tobacco at Tumwater campus

The Washington State Department of Health will ban smoking and other use of tobacco on its main work campus in Tumwater effective Feb. 16.

Secretary of Health Mary Selecky notified agency employees of the policy change Wednesday, according to a news release. It applies to four buildings, a parking garage and surrounding grounds off Capitol Boulevard near the campus.
