The Thanksgiving holiday means changes in some schedules and services.

Post offices will be open with regular mail delivery today.

Banks and credit unions may or may not be open today. Check with your individual bank or credit union in advance.

Federal offices will be open today.

State offices will be closed today.

County and city offices will be closed today.

Driver and motor vehicle services offices will be closed today.

Port of Olympia offices will be closed today.

School districts will be on Thanksgiving break today.

The Evergreen State College, Saint Martin’s University and South Puget Sound Community College will be closed today.

All Timberland Regional Library branches will be closed today.

Mason Transit will provide regular bus service today. For information, call 360-427-5033 or go to www.masontransit.org.

Pierce Transit will provide regular weekday service today. For information, call 253-581-8000.

Intercity Transit will provide regular bus service today. For information, call 360-786-1881 or go to www.intercitytransit.com.

Local garbage collection agencies will provide services to residential and commercial customers today.

Parking in downtown Olympia will be free today.
