Two inmates were arrested Friday after they walked away from a work crew in Olympia, according to the state Department of Corrections.

Also according to the DOC:

About 10:15 a.m., Bobby Norman and Cameron Beasley, inmates at Cedar Creek Corrections Center, walked away from a crew working at South Bay Elementary School in Olympia while a correctional officer was taking another inmate to a restroom. A patroling Thurston County deputy arrested both within 10 minutes.

Norman, 22, had been scheduled to complete his prison sentence March 30. Beasley, 22, had been scheduled to complete his sentence March 13.
