Menefee scores 38 as Geoducks top Concordia

Nate Menefee scored 38 points, leading The Evergreen State College to a 107-97 win over Concordia on Friday night in Cascade Conference men's basketball.

Josh Troyer scored 15 points, and Desmond Martin and Ben Wilson added 14 apiece for Evergreen (13-5 overall, 6-2 in the conference).

Concordia fell to 12-6 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

TESC women stumble

Evergreen was outscored 44-25 during the second half and lost, 68-50, to Concordia in women’s basketball.

Guard Latrina Woods scored 23 points for Evergreen, which led 25-24 at halftime but fell to 6-13 overall and 2-6 in the conference.

Danielle Clauson scored 19 for Concordia (10-8, 4-4).
