Foundation announces new members

The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound recently announced the 2010 officers for its 18-member board of directors.

Board leaders are chairwoman Marsha Tadano Long, state agency director, retired; vice chairwoman Mary Thompson, Thompson Consulting; treasurer Gordon Shewfelt, Security State Bank; secretary Lori Drummond, Olympia Federal Savings; and John Clees, RSM McGladrey, past chairman.

New members are Greg Rhodes, Younglove & Coker; Brian Vance, Heritage Bank; and Mary E. Williams, community volunteer.

Continuing board members are Dennis Adams, Virgil Adams Real Estate; Dr. Mike Barnard; Blase Gorney, Blase Gorney Design; Tracey Lowrey, community volunteer; Dan O’Neill, Great Western Supply; Bob Buhl, Bob Buhl Insurance; Stefani Parsons, community volunteer; Larry Poplack, Cooper Point Advisors; Thomas L. Purce, Ed.D., The Evergreen State College; Bret Wilhelm, Wilhelm Financial Services; and Rodney Youckton, Lucky Eagle Casino.
