Menefee, Geoducks pull away from College of Idaho

Nate Menefee scored 22 points, and The Evergreen State College shook off a poor start, then pulled away late to beat The College of Idaho, 88-74, on Friday night in Caldwell, Idaho.

Evergreen fell behind 12-3 and went into halftime tied, 44-44. A 3-pointer by Jemier Dodd with 10 minutes, 24 seconds remaining put Evergreen ahead to stay, 64-61, and the Geoducks ended the game on a 20-8 run.

Josh Troyer added 20 points for TESC, Anthony Gallagher had 17, and Dodd scored 15.
