The Olympia Eagles will host a day of entertainment to raise money for building repair and maintenance on its downtown hall.

Will Morrison, chairman of the board for the Eagles Aerie 21, has organized entertainment all day Saturday on three stages. All but one is open to the public; the social room is for members only. The acts start at 1 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 805 Fourth Ave. E.

The cost is a $5 donation, and additional donations are accepted and encouraged. In addition to the three stages of music, dance lessons will be available in the top floor studio.

Morrison is trying to preserve the historic hall, which was built in 1927. It leaks, its remaining windows barely close, and the roof and air conditioning/heating system needs replacement.
