Applications for open positions on the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission will be accepted until the end of the month. State health officials are especially interested in recruiting applicants for the open public member position.

The Department of Health seeks applicants for that position as well as three to be filled by nurses. Commission members are appointed by the governor to serve four-year terms. The open positions will become available July 1.

Applications are at www.governor.wa.gov/boards/default.asp or by contacting nursing commission deputy executive director Terry West at terry.west@doh.wa.gov or 360-236-4712.
