22nd District hopefuls report endorsements

Two 22nd Legislative District candidates reported receiving endorsements in the race for the seat Rep. Brendan Williams is vacating. Eight candidates are running.

Steve Robinson, an Olympia Democrat, said he won the support of Democratic Sen. Debbie Regala of Tacoma and Rep. Brian Blake of Aberdeen. That follows earlier endorsements by Democratic Sens. Kevin Ranker, Claudia Kauffman and Phil Rockefeller and Rep. John McCoy.

Chris Reykdal, a Tumwater Democrat, said the Thurston-Lewis-Mason counties labor council endorsed him. That follows earlier endorsements by the Machinists Local 751 and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 612. His website lists about 35 lawmakers, local elected officials and other leaders endorsing him.
