Questionnaires were given to 125 potentional jurors; questioning begins next week. Attorneys hope to seat a jury by Thursday and move to opening statements and witness testimony Nov. 8, said deputy prosecutor Kevin McCann, who is trying the case with colleague Stephen Penner.
Lawyers are particularly interested in jurors’ ability to sit through a trial that might stretch into the week of Christmas and how much publicity they’ve been exposed to, McCann said.
