More than 86 percent of the airports flights in October departed on time, FlightStats said. That showing ranked fifth among the worlds 50 busiest airports for departures.
Topping the list was Tokyos Haneda Airport, with 94.1 percent performance. Two other American airports, Houstons Bush, and Charlotte, were among the top five.
SeaTac-based Alaska Airlines finished second among U.S. major carriers for on-time performance in October with 87.43 percent of its flights arriving on time. United Airlines had 89.09 percent of its flights on time.
