Alaska; Anaheim, Calif.; and Las Vegas. That's where travelers from the Pacific Northwest will be going in 2011.

Travel Leaders – with 18 travel offices in the Tacoma-Seattle area and 547 nationwide – is out with its annual year-end look at bookings for the year ahead.

So far, Northwest agents report that the highest bookings for domestic travel include Alaska cruises; trips to Anaheim-Orange County; and Las Vegas jaunts. These are followed in the top 10 by Honolulu; Orlando, Fla.; Maui, Hawaii; Chicago; Hawaiian cruises; New York City; Phoenix; and, oddly enough, Seattle.

Comparing 2010 bookings with 2011 bookings so far, 33.3 percent of local agents said business was up, 55.6 percent said it was about the same and 11.1 percent said bookings have decreased.
