LACEY: Salmon group to mark effort's 20th year

The South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group's 20th anniversary annual meeting is set for 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lacey Community Center, 6729 Pacific Ave. S.E., Lacey.

The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which will include keynote speaker Joe Kane, author and executive director of the Nisqually Land Trust.

The meeting will include highlights from 20 years of salmon habitat-restoration projects in South Sound and election of board members.
