There are a lot of ducks and geese on the refuge this time of year, as well as raptors.
The walk likely will include the newly opened Nisqually Estuary Boardwalk Trail, the $2.8 million, one-mile long boardwalk.
Participants should meet at the visitor center at 8 a.m. And plan to spend about four hours walking through the refuge.
