Wine events for March 4

THE ART OF WINE TASTING: Students will learn about the great vineyards of the world, taste and talk about what makes wine special, 1-4 p.m. March 5 or May 7, Centralia College, 600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia. $29.

WINE- AND BEER-TASTING GALA: Capital High School Booster Club fundraising tasting from 6-9 p.m. March 12 in the South Puget Sound Community College Student Union building, 2011 Mottman Road S.W., Olympia. $40 per person or $75 for couples. 360-866-0978.

CHOCOLATE FOR WINE LOVERS: This pairing includes a wine and chocolate tasting, plus tips and tasting techniques, 1-4 p.m. April 9, Centralia College, 600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia. $29.
