Saint Martin's Poole player of year runner-up

Saint Martin's senior basketball forward Blake Poole was named first-team all-region and was second in the balloting to Humboldt State's Brian Morris for the West Region's player of the year award.

Poole, who averaged 19.3 points and was second in the country in rebounding at 11.6 per game, was one of three players from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference named to the Daktronics West Region men’s basketball team.

Central Washington’s Jamar Berry and Alaska Fairbanks’ Parrish West also made the team.
