More also agreed to a lifetime revocation of his teaching certificate, said Jade Baker, a detective who investigated More.
An accomplished local musician, More met a 17-year-old student through private singing lessons, he told police. Their first sexual encounter occurred when he asked her for oral sex after giving the girl a ride home, according to documents filed in court.
The sexual contact continued into 2010 and once included intercourse, the victim, now graduated, told police.
More also received oral sex from a 15-year-old during the 2009-2010 school year. He was also accused of groping a third girl, the charges said.
The encounters occurred in the West High choir office and choir room, the choir room at Romig Middle School, a school hallway and More's vehicle.
A graduate of Service High School and the University of Alaska Anchorage, More previously taught at Williwaw Elementary and Palmer High School. He became choir director at West in 2008.
Prosecutors agreed to drop a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, which could have put More in prison for up to 99 years, said Baker, the detective.
