State agencies closed Monday for furlough day

Many state agencies are taking a furlough day on Monday.

Last year, the Legislature approved and Gov. Chris Gregoire signed into law a requirement that certain state agencies close on 10 days this year or find another way to cut their budgets.

Among the agencies closing are the departments of Health, Corrections, Agriculture, Early Learning and Social and Health Services.
