Overtime session? Get our take on video

The OlympianMarch 30, 2011

I joined Jordan Schrader and Pete Callaghan of The News Tribune yesterday for a video chat about session and prospects for an overtime period in June. You can see and hear us here or here.

For the purist readers, here's what I blogged a couple of days ago about the molasses moment that House Democratic budget writers seem to be going through.

I have believed since before session began that lawmakers would have to come back in June for adjustments to the budget and/or finish a tax package for the November ballot. The question now is whether they can get their first draft budget written into law by April 24, the 105th day of regular session.

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
