Man arrested in woman's shooting in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Wash. - A man suspected of shooting a woman early Tuesday in Aberdeen has been arrested.

KXRO reports the woman gave police a description that led to the arrest in the town of Central Park. The 39-year-old Renton man was pulled over by a Grays Harbor County sheriff's deputy. The man fled on foot but was found hiding in a shed and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The 28-year-old woman who suffered multiple gunshot wounds was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Three children who were at the home at the time of the shooting are being placed with family members.
