State Patrol seeks witnesses to fatal hit and run in Chehalis

The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to a fatal hit and run that occurred Saturday night on Interstate 5 near Labree Road in Chehalis.

Lily M. Rowland, a 77-year-old Chehalis woman, was walking southbound in a northbound lane about 10 p.m. when she was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle, troopers say. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle did not remain at the scene and troopers are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
