TUMWATER’S FOURTH OF JULY Start the day Monday with an 11 a.m. parade on Capitol Boulevard. Daylong activities, entertainment, music, food, prizes at Tumwater Valley Golf Course, end the day with fireworks show at dusk. Golf course is at 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive S.E., Tumwater. $5 parking.

FREEDOM FAIR WINGS AND WHEELS An aviation event with a car and motorcycle show. Featuring live entertainment, amusements for kids, race cars, World War II B-25 aircraft rides and tours, helicopter rides, and the Smoke ’N’ Thunder Jet Dragster, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Tacoma Narrows Airport, 1202 26th Ave. N.W., Gig Harbor. $5-$12, ages 6 and younger get in free.
