Five honored as Living Legends

The City of Lacey’s former manager and the owner of Wagner’s European Bakery were among five people recognized as Living Legends of Thurston County at the Olympia Senior Center last week.

Recipients are:

 • Greg Cuoio, former Lacey city manager.

 • Art and Carolyn Folder, who worked behind the scenes at the YWCA, Senior Services for South Sound and the local arts community.

 • Eileen McKenzie-Sullivan, executive director of Senior Services for South Sound. She’s also active in her church and in the Tenino Community Theater.

 • Rudy Wagner, owner of Wagner’s European Bakery.

Twenty-seven individuals, couples or families have been honored since 2001. Their names appear on the Legends Plaque at the Olympia Senior Center.
