As a result, students will be released from school early on Nov. 23, Dec. 16 and Feb. 3. The furloughs were recently negotiated, and are not reflected in calendars that were mailed out to families in the district this month.
The district announced the furloughs on Wednesday, noting they were the result of state budget cuts and teacher salary reductions.
