BasEball

 • The University of Washington is hosting a six-week camp (one hour each week) starting Monday until mid-October for boys ages 7-14. Fee is $300. Information: www.washingtonbaseball camp.com

Basketball

 • Tumwater recreational league for boys and girls in grades 3-6 has registration beginning Thursday at the Tumwater City Hall. Fee is $80 per player with one game a week. The league runs from mid-October-January. Information: 360-754-4160.

 • Tumwater competitive league for boys and girls in sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Fee is $495 per team for a 10-game season, games once a week. Registration begins Thursday at the Tumwater City Hall. Information: 360-754-4160.

 • Tumwater Youth Basketball League will run a weekend fall league from Sept. 10-Oct. 23 for sixth/seventh graders, eighth/ninth graders and high school boys and girls. Team fee is $560 for 14 games, $400 for 10 games. Information: Dave Vernon, 360-943-3200.
