The blaze burning in the Olympic National Forest grew to over 100 acres Sunday and is expected to grow under warm and dry conditions.

U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Donna Nemeth said windy conditions will likely help the fire grow.

Nemeth said officials have ordered six additional crews and two helicopters to help the current crew battling the blaze.

She said officials suspect the fire was human caused, but haven’t pinpointed the origin.

The fire is located near the Duckabush hiking trial, which has been closed as a precaution.

Nemeth added that the fire was reported on Thursday and is burning dead brush. About 20 people were working on suppressing it.
