The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a girl who disappeared Wednesday from outside her aunt’s home in the Bordeaux Road area of Littlerock.

The aunt of Annika Anderson, 10, reported the girl missing about 1:40 p.m., Lt. Greg Elwin said.

It’s possible that the boyfriend of Anderson’s mother picked her up in a car, Elwin said. Detectives have no reason to believe the girl is in danger if that is the case, he said.

The child’s mother died Saturday; she had been staying with the aunt, Elwin said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
