Cindy Tobeck and Emily and Annie Uhlmeyer, all of Olympia, have made big names for themselves at this year's Puyallup Fair.

The Uhlmeyers won the junior division of the Super Pumpkin weigh-in contest with a 456-pound pumpkin. With the grand prize of $1 per pound, the girls took home $456.

Tobeck came in ninth in the highly competitive adult division, with a 522.5-pound whopper. Stan Pugh of Puyallup was the BIG winner, however, bringing in a pumpkin of 927 pounds. That is well under the Fair's record, which Pugh set in 2009 with a 1,136-pound pumpkin. He also earned $1 a pound for his blue-ribbon winner.

You can see the Uhlmeyers pumpkin, which will be on display at the fair with the top three pumpkins in each division. The pumpkins are housed in the Agriculture Department in the Americraft ShowPlex until the fair ends Sept. 25.

All of the other entries will be used for pumpkin carving each Saturday and Sunday of the Fair.
