Story prompts memories of fishing in Corral Lake

I am a seventh-grader from Yelm. I read the article titled “Sunken oil diesel barge endangers lake” that was printed in the Sept. 19 Olympian.

I thought it was an interesting article.

I have been fishing in the town of Moses Lake. I have been fishing in Corral Lake. When I read the article, I wondered what would happen to the fish in Moses Lake. I hope the firefighters and Ecology staff will be able to clean up the oil so that the fish will be safe. I hope that The Olympian will print more information about this oil spill as they continue to clean it up.

I would also like to see some photographs of this spill as they continue to clean it up.
