A memorial bike run for Dennis Stevens, an Olympia motorcyclist who died from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle crash Sept. 7, departs at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Hawks Prairie Restaurant & Sports Bar, 8306 Quinault Drive N.E.

Riders will make four stops, at the Powder Keg Bar & Grill in Tenino, the Junction Sports Bar in Grand Mound, the 2 Mile House Pub and Eatery on Olympia’s west side, and the Olympia Eagles Hall downtown.

Food will be served there and music will be played when the riders arrive, sometime around 4 p.m.

Participants are asked to donate $10 to help family members cover expenses. The Dennis Stevens support group is on Facebook or at http://tinyurl.com/dennisstevens.

Stevens was injured when his 1993 Harley-Davidson and a Freightliner semitrailer, which were stopped near state Route 510, were struck by a 2001 Honda Passport driven by a Lacey woman. The cause was listed as inattentive driving.
