The Great Northwest Athletic Conference released its preseason basketball polls, and the Saint Martin's men's and women's teams are projected to finish sixth and ninth, respectively, in the conference standings.
Alaska Anchorage is picked to win the conference on both the men's and women's side. The Saints men join Western Washington as the two teams who return double-digit letterwinners.
The first day of practice for Saint Martin's, as well as Evergreen, was Tuesday.
