The deadline for Thurston County residents to pay second-half property taxes is Oct. 31, and there are several ways to make the payment, according to the county Treasurer’s Office.

According to the county:

Property taxes can be paid through the treasurer’s website, www.co.thurston.wa.us/treasurer.

There is no additional charge for the online electronic check payment option, but there is a 2.75 percent fee for the credit/debit card payment option.

Payments also can be made at the Treasurer’s Office or at the courthouse parking lot drop box, 2000 Lakeridge Drive S.W., Building 1, Olympia.

Office hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Payments made by mail must be postmarked by the due date. Penalties and interest will be charged for late payments.
