Drivers should expect temporary lane closures and extra delays beginning Wednesday for the next three weeks near Martin Way and Carpenter Road Southeast as crews work near the intersection, according to the City of Lacey.

Crews will install reclaimed water, storm water, and private utility systems across Martin Way and work on traffic signals. The work is part of the Carpenter Road reconstruction project, which will widen the roadway between Pacific Avenue Southeast and Martin Way East to four traffic lanes, including bike lanes, sidewalks, planter strips and street lighting.

Updated traffic advisories are posted on Lacey’s official website at www.ci.lacey.wa.us.
