Celebrate Halloween with some of the boatload of spooky events happening in South Sound this weekend. Here are few unusual offerings:

 • Inspired by the Celtic New Year’s Festival of Samhain, join in the All Hallows’ Eve Nightwalk through the night woods of Priest Point Park, 2600 East Bay Drive N.E., Olympia. The walk runs from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday. Meet the strange creatures that live between the seasons and enjoy family games, hot cider, a dessert auction and entertainment.

 • Walk the dark streets of old Olympia with OlyWalks guide Dixie Havlak as she visits the sites of death that shaped Olympia. Her Haunted Halloween Downtown Tour runs tonight from 8-8:50 p.m. Rgistration is required by calling Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation at 360-753-8380 or go to olympiawa.gov/experienceit. Cost is $10 per person.

 • Get spooked at The Old Firehouse Haunted House at 201 N. Capitol Way, Olympia, tonight through Monday. It’s a fundraiser for the Family Support Center and Capital Playhouse’s Kids at Play program. Then take in a dance performance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to round out the ghoulish experience. Hours are 5 p.m.-midnight tonight and Saturday and 5-10 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Admission is $5.
