Olympia requires a mayor who understands that neighbors and neighborhoods are the foundation of a city and need to have a voice in how their community evolves.
Olympia is fortunate that such a candidate for mayor exists, and that candidate is Stephen Buxbaum.
I have had the privilege of working with Buxbaum on neighborhood issues. He makes an effort to be involved in the community and is thoughtful and reliable. He listens to what neighborhood leaders say and follows up on their concerns. He gets the facts and then makes decisions.
He believes in empowering people and bringing stakeholders together. I am voting for the future of Olympia so I am voting for Stephen Buxbaum for mayor.
