Mason County sheriff’s deputies arrested a state Fish and Wildlife employee Thursday morning on suspicion of voyeurism in connection with an investigation into a camera that was found in the women’s bathroom at the George Adams Fish Hatchery, according to a news release.

Edwin Carl Jouper, 57, of Shelton, was and booked into the Mason County Jail. According to the release:

The investigation began last week, after an employee discovered the camera. The investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Fish and Wildlife led to Jouper, who has managed the hatchery for several years. He has been a Fish and Wildlife employee for more than 30 years.

Deputies and Fish and Wildlife officers served a search warrant on Jouper’s residence, which is on the fish hatchery grounds. Officers seized four computers and are trying to determine how many potential victims are involved.

Jouper’s first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
