Musical theater tribute

Join the South Puget Sound Community College drama program for its annual tribute to musical theater, “Broadway and Beyond: The War Years.” The performance combines food and entertainment with Broadway hits. Showtimes are 8 tonight and Saturday and Thursday-Nov. 19 plus 2 p.m. Sunday and Nov. 20 at the college’s Minnaert Center for the Arts, 2011 Mottman Road S.W., Olympia. Tickets are $12-$17. Art House swing

Originally from Tacoma, Pearl Django incorporates the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with American swing music to create a style all its own. The band will be joined by Olympia’s own guitarist Vince Brown for an evening of swing at 8 p.m. Saturday at The Art House Designs, 423 Franklin St. S.E., Olympia. Tickets are $20. Olympia Little Theatre’s production of Cat Delaney’s “Welfarewell,” a comedy about an old lady who runs out of money and decides going to jail would be a good way to get food and shelter, continues this weekend and next. Folksy duo

They first emerged in the 1970s, and became well known for the blend of their voices and their own solid songwriting accomplishments in the American folk music world. After traveling the world and going off to solo careers, Reilly & Maloney returned to their roots and are again touring as a duo.
