More than 1,500 votes have been cast in the question, "Was (the boy) a victim?" and 54 percent clicked on "No. He said he knew what he was doing and Linda Lusk was vulnerable after her son's death."
The other side of the question is, "Yes. No matter what his intentions were, Linda Lusk should have stopped the teenager in his tracks."
The victim is interviewed on camera and named in the poll, but the Herald's policy is to not publish names of victims of a sex crime.
